Requirements for granting a Certificate of Occupancy for new dwellings

There are several requirements that must be met prior to the Worley Fire District granting the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy for newly constructed dwellings.

1. Persons that have received a building permit application from Kootenai County must contact the Worley Fire District office for review and signature of the proposed project.

2. Requirements may be imposed on the project regarding Access Roads and Defensible Space issues.
The District Staff asks applicants to call the District office to schedule a time for Building Permit reviews rather than just stopping by as we may be on an emergency call and out of the office.
